PATENT PENDING LAYUP
While developing The Loam Carbon Bar, we identified that a great carbon bar needs to deliver a balance of vertical compliance to smooth out chatter on the trail, and horizontal stiffness for predictable handling. To achieve this ideal balance we developed our patent pending CBD Layup. Compliant Bore Design (CBD) refers to the unique inside shape, layup, and wall thickness of the Loam Carbon Handlebar and unlike questionable gas station CBD gummies, it actually works.
A BRILLIANT MATERIAL
PNW carbon is fresh, it’s fancy, and it won’t leave your hands and wrists with a hangover. The top-tier carbon manufacturer we partner with weaves their carbon fiber in-house on an as-needed basis, allowing us to choose the highest quality pre-preg unidirectional carbon on the market.
ANTI-FATIGUE GEOMETRY
Like our much beloved Range Gen 3 Handlebar, The Loam Carbon Bar has 5° of upsweep and 10° of backsweep, providing our signature comfy and slightly more upright riding position. Everyone’s fit and riding style is a bit different, so The Loam comes in a 38mm or 25mm rise, offering options to dial in fit.
PERFORMANCE XEROXED
We meticulously tuned the Loam Carbon Bar to be the best riding carbon bar on the market, and we wanted that to remain consistent across our size range. Despite common beliefs about the stiffness of larger diameter components, our CBD Layup ensures the 31.8mm version delivers the same optimal ride quality as our 35mm model.
